Does it have any side effects?

Although is a fairly safe drug, some patients do feel slight side effects resulting from its use. These side effects may include a runny nose, headaches, apparent increase in the flow of blood to the eyelids, and irritation especially among patients who wear contact lenses.

How often should I use ?

The recommended dosage is one drop twice daily or every eight to 12 hours. Just use one drop at a time - never more.

If you forget to use on time, do not panic - just use it as soon as you realize that you have missed a dose. If you only realize that you have missed a dose a few hours before your next scheduled dose, then just skip the missed dose and resume regular schedule.

It is almost impossible to overdose on this eye drop because even if you accidentally swallow a bottle of , you will not reach toxic levels. Still, if you are worried that you may have used too much , inform your doctor immediately.

How do I use ?

Do not swallow or inject . It is strictly for the eyes - not for the nose or mouth - so it should only be administered as an eye drop.

Prevent contamination by observing sanitary administration. Wash your hands using a strong germicidal soap before using the eye drops. Tilt your back and gently pull your lower eyelid just enough to make a small pouch to drop the formula in. Remember never to let the dropper touch your eyelids or the infected surrounding areas of your eyes when administering.

Never blink once the drops are in your eyes - instead, just close your eyes gently and wait for about one to two minutes, until everything is absorbed. If there is excess solution around your eye area, tap it clean with a dry tissue. Be careful not to touch the infected eye as you clean up.

Storage instructions

is not a high maintenance drug. Just be sure to keep its bottle firmly closed not in use. You can store it in temperatures from 39 to 77 Fahrenheit.
