Creating A Beach Theme Bridal Shower
May 27th, 2017
There are some really fabulous themes that you can choose to go with for a bridal shower, but one of the most popular by far is the beach theme. A beach theme bridal shower is always great, whether you live in a warm climate all the time or are having the bridal shower during the winter and want an escape from the winter blues.
If you want to create the perfect beach theme bridal shower then there are a few steps that you are going to want to follow.
Making the Invitations
One of the most important steps in the planning of any bridal shower is making the invitations. The first thing you should do here is find a design template that works for you. Popular images for a beach theme bridal shower include flip flops, umbrellas, beach balls, and sea shells.
Remember that you can find these images on the computer and make your invitations this way, and this is often helpful because you can then adjust the image as you like.
Food is very important and it can be difficult to come up with beach themed food ideas. Pina coladas and other tropical drinks are a great idea, as is seafood such as lobster, crab and shrimp.
Decorating the Space
Of course you are going to have to decorate the room that you are having the beach theme bridal shower in. You will want to include lots of tropical flowers, maybe a sunset cut out of construction paper, and even some leis which you may even want to give out to the guests as party favors at the end of the night.
Make the Centerpieces
You will want inexpensive but beautiful centerpieces for each of the tables, and one great idea uses elements from the beach. First you want to find a shallow glass bowl and get some colorful dried sprays of plants. Use some of these sprays at the bottom of the bowl and then use some as accents around the rest of the bowl. Then you place in some sea shells and starfish and voila, one centerpiece done and ready to go.
The beach theme bridal shower is a fantastic idea, a great way to bring the ultimate wedding destination to the bride-to-be and her guests. Everyone will be delighted with the mood that has been set and with a little planning and creativity you are sure to be praised for your hard work.
